世界に一枚だけの作品づくり。
先日、アメリカからお越しのお客様に染物体験をお楽しみいただきました。
今回の体験では、ハンカチを使ってしって絞り染めに挑戦していただきました。
同じ染め方でも、模様の作り方や色の組み合わせによって、一枚一枚まったく異なる作品に仕上がります。
完成した作品が広げられるたびに歓声が上がり、皆さんで作品を見せ合いながら大変盛り上がりました。特に、青と赤を組み合わせた花のような模様の作品は、「とても美しい！」と皆さんから注目を集めていました。
体験の最後には、
「Thank you for such a wonderful experience!」
（素晴らしい体験をありがとう！）
という嬉しいお言葉もいただき、私たちにとっても忘れられない一日となりました。
染物を通して、日本のものづくりの楽しさや、自分だけの作品を作る喜びを感じていただけたことを大変嬉しく思います。
皆さまにとって、日本での旅の思い出の一つになっていれば幸いです。またお会いできる日を楽しみにしております。
A Wonderful Dyeing Experience with Guests from the USA
We recently welcomed visitors from the United States for a traditional Japanese dyeing workshop.
Each participant created a unique hand-dyed handkerchiefs using the traditional tie-dye technique. Although everyone followed the same process, every piece turned out differently, reflecting each person’s creativity.
When the finished works were unfolded, the room filled with smiles and excitement. Everyone enjoyed admiring each other’s colorful designs.
At the end of the workshop, one participant shared these kind words:
“Thank you for such a wonderful experience!”
Hearing these words made our day, and we were honored to share a piece of Japanese craftsmanship and culture with our guests.
We hope each handmade handkerchief will become a cherished souvenir and a lasting memory of their time in Japan.
