OSA WINERYの葡萄から生まれた色
小樽にある宿泊施設「小樽リトリート 蔵群 by 温故知新」の客室にて、
クッションと座布団のテキスタイルを野口染舗の天然染めプロジェクトBetulaN（ベチュラン）で制作させていただきました。
使用した生地は、Watanabe Textileの素材。
空間に自然に溶け込む質感と表情を大切にしながら、染めを施しています。
染料には、小樽のワイナリーである
OSA WINERY にて、
ワインづくりの過程で生まれる葡萄の果皮を使用しました。
本来であれば役目を終える素材に、
染めというかたちで新たな価値を与えています。
BetulaNでは、
「役目を終えた素材に、もう一度息吹を。」
という考えのもと、北海道の自然や資源を活かしたものづくりを行っています。
蔵群の静かな空間の中で、
自然から生まれた色がやわらかく馴染み、
訪れる方の時間にそっと寄り添う存在となれば嬉しく思います。
We had the opportunity to create textiles for cushions and zabuton
in the guest rooms at Kuramure in Otaru.
The fabric is produced by Watanabe Textile,
selected for its rich texture and harmony with the space.
For the dye, we used grape skins generated during the winemaking process
at OSA WINERY in Otaru, Hokkaido.
Materials that would normally complete their role are given new life
through the process of natural dyeing.
At BetulaN, we are committed to creating products
that revive the potential of natural resources in Hokkaido.
We hope that the colors born from nature will gently blend into the quiet atmosphere of the space,
adding a subtle richness to the time spent there.
